01 / Imagine an island
Where will your story begin?
ORA wakes on Blackstone Beach. Draw an island of your own. Give it a beach, a place to shelter and somewhere mysterious. Add a route between them.
My island is called: __________________________________
Who lives here? What would a visitor need to learn before changing anything?
02 / Design a thoughtful robot
Listen first. Then help.
Your robot wants to help a wild place. Choose one small problem it could investigate. Sketch the robot and label three tools it might use.
Before taking action, my robot would ask:
How could it check whether its help was working?
03 / Notice something small

With an adult, choose somewhere safe to observe: a garden, a park, a window view or a plant indoors. Watch quietly for five minutes. Leave plants and animals undisturbed.
Three things I noticed:
One thing I wonder about:
What changed when I looked again?
Talk about the story.
What is the difference between fixing something and understanding it?
When might listening be more helpful than acting quickly?
What could ORA learn from a friend who sees the world differently?
