A mysterious machine.
A wonderfully wild island.

When a battered robot wakes on Blackstone Beach, most of her memories are gone. One instruction remains: RESTORE.

With Pip the puffin, Tumble the otter and Bracken the badger, ORA begins to discover what that might mean. Vanishing rivers, strange lights and hidden machines will test much more than her programming.

A few things to know.

Which ORA book should we read first?

Start with Secrets of Skerry Isle, Book 1. It introduces ORA, the island and her wildlife companions through ten connected adventures. The numbered reading order above follows the series from there.

What kind of reader is ORA for?

ORA is a children's adventure series for readers who enjoy longer stories, robots, animals and mysteries. Book 1 is a substantial collection of ten connected adventures. A parent or carer can use Amazon's sample, where available, to judge the reading level and fit for their child.

Are all the books available as ebooks?

No. The reading order lists only published editions. If a book has only a Paperback link, its Kindle edition is not currently listed as available.

Is Skerry Isle a real place?

The Skerry Isle in ORA's stories is fictional. You can imagine your own island with the free activities in our explorer journal.
